Data Deletion Instructions

KBC Quiz (com.appattitude.kbc.game) provides the following methods for you to request deletion of your personal data stored on our servers.

What Data We Store

Our servers store the following data associated with your anonymous account:

Display name — the name you set in Settings
Language preference — English, Hindi, or Gujarati
Game statistics — total games, correct/wrong answers, highest level, winnings
Game history — per-game answer records
Seen questions — records of questions already shown to you

Method 1: Delete via App (Recommended)

Step 1

Open the KBC Quiz app on your device.

Step 2

Go to Settings from the Home screen.

Step 3

Scroll down and tap "Delete My Data" or "Request Account Deletion."

Step 4

Confirm your request. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Method 2: Email Request

Step 1

Send an email to appattitude.dev@gmail.com.

Step 2

Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request — KBC Quiz".

Step 3

Include the following in your email:

Your in-app display name (as shown in Settings)
Approximate date you installed or last used the app
Any other details to help us locate your account

Step 4

We will confirm your request via email and process deletion within 30 days.

Note: Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your game progress, statistics, and preferences cannot be recovered. You can still use the app afterwards — a new anonymous account will be created.

What Happens After Deletion

All your Firebase Firestore data (profile, game history, seen questions) will be permanently deleted.
Your anonymous Firebase Authentication account will be deleted.
Your data will also be removed from any backup systems within the retention period.
Anonymous analytics and crash data (if applicable) will age out automatically per Firebase retention policies (up to 14 months).
