Aurora Launcher for Android

Effective date: 27 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Aurora Launcher ("Aurora"), an Android home screen app published by CiertoLab. By installing or using Aurora you agree to them. If you do not agree, uninstall the app.

1. The licence you get

You may install and use Aurora on any device you control, for as long as you like. This is a licence to use the app, not a sale of it — CiertoLab keeps ownership of the app itself and its design.

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell or sublicense Aurora or any modified version of it
  • Circumvent, disable or misrepresent the Aurora Pro entitlement check
  • Use the app to break the law, or to break the terms of any other app on the device

2. Aurora Pro

Aurora is a complete launcher without paying. Aurora Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks deeper customisation: icon packs, the full icon shape set, every theme preset, every page transition, per-app icons and backup export.

  • It is not a subscription. You pay once. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
  • It is tied to your Google account, not to a device. Reinstall or change phone and you can restore it from the paywall screen at no cost.
  • Restoring a backup is always free, even though exporting one is a Pro feature. Your own configuration is never held behind a purchase.

3. Payment and refunds

All payments are processed by Google Play. CiertoLab never receives or stores your payment details. Prices are shown by Google in your local currency and may include tax depending on your country.

Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy, which is the fastest route and the one we recommend. If Google issues a refund, the Pro features stop being available — the app follows Google's record of what you own rather than keeping a copy of its own. If Play cannot help you, write to us and we will do what we reasonably can.

4. What Aurora cannot do

Android does not let any third-party launcher change Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, airplane mode or mobile data directly. Aurora shows their real state and opens the correct system panel when you tap. Aurora's lock screen view is a launcher screen, not device security; it does not replace or weaken your real screen lock.

Aurora also depends on Android APIs that manufacturers sometimes change or restrict. Some features may behave differently, or be unavailable, on particular devices or Android versions.

5. Your data

Aurora collects nothing about you. What it stores stays on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

6. No warranty, and limits on liability

Aurora is provided "as is". We work to keep it stable and fast, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free on every device.

To the extent the law allows, CiertoLab is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Aurora, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Aurora Pro, if anything. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory consumer rights, which these terms do not replace.

7. Ending the licence

You can stop using Aurora at any time by uninstalling it, which also removes everything it stored. We may end this licence if you materially breach these terms — in practice, for redistributing the app or defeating the Pro entitlement check.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the effective date above changes and the updated terms are published at this same URL. Continuing to use Aurora after that means you accept them.
