Common questions

I paid for Aurora Pro but it is locked on my new phone
Open Aurora Settings → Aurora Pro and tap Restore purchase. Aurora Pro is tied to the Google account that bought it, so sign in with that account first. Nothing is charged again.
The Control Center will not turn Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on
Android does not allow any third-party launcher to change Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, airplane mode or mobile data. Aurora shows their real state and opens the correct system panel when you tap, rather than pretending a switch worked.
Notifications are not showing in Aurora
Aurora needs notification access, which Android only grants from its own settings: Android Settings → Notifications → Device & app notifications → Aurora. Aurora only displays and dismisses notifications; it never modifies or forwards them.
The weather widget shows nothing
The widget needs approximate location to know which place to fetch. If you declined, grant it from Android Settings → Apps → Aurora → Permissions. Aurora sends only rounded coordinates to Open-Meteo, with no identifier attached.
How do I move my setup to a new phone?
Aurora Settings → Privacy & Permissions → Export backup writes a single JSON file. Copy it across and use Restore backup on the new device. Restoring is always free, even though exporting is a Pro feature.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Google Play, which is faster than going through us. Use Google Play's refund process; if it cannot help you, write to us and we will do what we reasonably can.
Aurora is not opening when I press Home
Aurora has to be set as the default home app: Android Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app → Aurora. Aurora Settings → Privacy & Permissions also has a shortcut to that screen.
